Pamwamba Malawi coffee comes from the Southern Thyolo district, first planted in 1979 at altitudes between 920 and 1,100 meters. The region features rolling valleys, fertile dolerite clay, and alluvial soils. The local cooperative rotates fields every seven to eight years, ensuring they harvest from young, mostly disease-free coffee plants.
