This coffee, named in honour of Papua New Guinea's bird of paradise, hails from the Eastern Highlands, the country's top coffee-growing region. Although Papua New Guinea accounts for just 1% of global coffee production, it is a vital industry, employing over 2 million people, primarily small family farmers.
