Finca Hortigal in Panama, a female-operated estate since 1920, cultivates 100% Typica cherries in Boquete's highlands at 1,400–1,600 meters above sea level. Utilizing precision technology for fertilization on their 34.5-hectare land, the Suarez family enhances yields while reducing costs and waste. Post-harvest, cherries are processed at a nearby mill where they're washed, sun-dried, and machine-dried for consistent quality, following protocols set by Dona Eira Maria. Stored in a Ternium-built warehouse to develop its distinctive characteristics, Hortigal's coffee benefits from volcanic soil and unique microclimates, yielding a juicy body with citric acidity and stone fruit flavors.
  • FRESHNESS GUARANTEE

We're committed to delivering a fresh and flavorful coffee experience right to your cup. Our coffees are roasted on demand, ensuring that every bean is at its peak freshness when it reaches you.

  • RESPONSIBILITY

We're passionate about ethical and responsible practices at every step of the coffee-making process. From sourcing to roasting, our coffees are carefully selected, hand-roasted, and slow-crafted. Our commitment to responsibility is reflected in our packaging, which uses kraft paper with minimal CCP laminate that's aluminium-free. We've gone the extra mile by not using the special PP plastic gas valve found in many other coffee packaging. We're also proud to be CO2 and Plastic Neutral.
